Sing a Song All Night Long

The two legendary acts will entertain their fans at length bringing all of the greatest hits and songs from their repertoire including some of the new material from both of these groups. The performances by Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire will highlight two of the most influential, creative and beloved musical acts in history, performing songs that have become icons of funk, rock, R&B and soul music.

The singer will also perform a number of his latest songs as well as the lead cut, “Waiting for You,” from his 2006 studio release, Heading Home. This latest work by the superstar performer is a return to the American Roots music found on such classic albums by the singer as Com Come and others by the Commodores, the group with which Richie was the principal writer, as well as some of his extremely successful later solo efforts, including “All night Long,” “Hello,” “Easy,” “Stuck on You” and “Dancing on the Ceiling. He co-wrote “We Are the World” with Michael Jackson for a 1985 all-star album to help raise funds for African famine relief; he has since won four Grammys, an Oscar (for “End Title” from 1987’s “The Cry in the Wild” soundtrack) and a Golden Globe.

Earth, Wind & Fire

Earth, Wind & Fire has brought a fusion of funk, soul, R&B, jazz and rock music to their audience of millions throughout their 40-year career. They have performed songs such as “September,” “Boogie Wonderland,” “Shining Star,” “Let’s Groove” and many others. Their songs feature their powerful, energetic horn section, and their complex vocal harmonies, which give their many songs an added dimension. The group released their last studio album of original material, “Now, Then & Forever,” in 2013 and continue to tour and perform for their fans around the world.
